Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Florist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with proven expertise in floral design, strong knowledge of flower care, and a passion for creating exceptional arrangements. You will work in a creative, fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team that values artistry, precision, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create high-end floral arrangements for weddings, events, holidays, and daily orders.
  • Consult with customers to understand their vision and recommend flowers, plants, and design concepts.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workspace, including floral coolers and design stations.
  • Unpack, process, and condition flower shipments to ensure peak freshness and quality.
  • Manage inventory of flowers, supplies, and tools.
  • Deliver arrangements to customers and venues, ensuring safe, timely, and professional service.
  • Assist with on-site event setups and installations.
  • Work extended hours during peak floral holidays (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional floral design experience in a retail or event setting.
  • Strong design skills with a portfolio demonstrating versatility and creativity.
  • Excellent knowledge of flower varieties, seasonal availability, and care techniques.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
